John Clovis
Rehearsal Accompanist
John Clovis, a native of West Virginia, taught music for 38 years - in public schools in Texas, West Virginia, and Ohio, and at Greater Atlanta Christian School in Norcross. He also sang with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus for four years, during which time they performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and for three nights at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Mr. Clovis is now retired, and enjoys his five children, eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Of course, music is a huge part of his life, and this love has brought him to the Gwinnet Symphony Orchestra Chorus, where he is a tenor, and one of the rehearsal accompanists.
